• Fingerpicking

At this module you will learn to play fingerpicking

|
|
guitar with a thumbpick. We will look at 3
different
|
|
|
ways to fingerpick on the guitar: a) the
monoto-
|
|
|
nous bass, b) the alternate bass and c) bluegrass
|
|
|
fingerpicking. You will by using your thumb learn
|
|
|
to keep a steady rythm, and use your other
|
|
|
fingers to play the melody line. We will use some
|
|
|
well known fingerpicking songs that with the
|
|
|
proper use of your right hand will make your
|
|
|
playing sound good. To get the most out of this
|
|
|
session it is essential that you can play chords
|
|
|
and know how to read tabulature..

Here you will learn to play more complicated and

exciting fingerpicking variations. By using the
|
|
|
proper right hand technique I will show you how
|
|
|
to play fast fingerpicking runs and how you make
|
|
|
your strokes more rythmical by marking the
|
|
|
beat. Yoy will also learn to use your left hand for
|
|
|
pull-offs, hammer-ons and other "thrills" together
|
|
|
with your right hand in order to improve your
|
|
|
fingerpicking techniques.
