      SEATROUT STATISTICS - RIVER KARUP

There is no official publizised statistics for this river, so the only
way to estimate catches are by looking at the specific reportings
by the Angling Associations of which there are several involved
concerning leaseholds. The LSFO requires reporting within 14 days.
however, while other Associations haven't any regulations for this.
Right now an initiative is under way for improving such statistics!

There is a general minimum size of 40 centimeter for the seatrout
and some places there is a daily quota of 2 fish per day, others
do not operate with any kind of catch limitations. We urge you to
release all fish that you do not need for your own consumption in
order to preserve the stock of seatrout. Season: 1. March - 31. Oct.

      UPDATED SEATROUT CATCHES

The runs of seatrout does not start until May where we will
see the first fresh fish in the river in quantities larger than
1 or 2 fish entering the river. From July we will begin to see
bigger runs of fish and they will continue througout the
      season.

Although we do not have any requirements concerning
registering your catches the Skive Angling Association
do have a webpage where you can upload photos etc.
This page can be found here...

The Angling Associations also has a common webpage
for the same purpose. See it here...
