After spawning in the river the seatrout will return to the sea where it has
its hunting grounds. Unlike the salmon the seatrout will stay rather close
to the coastline which makes it possible to fish for it most of the year.
Danish fishing for seatrout has seen a steady upward curve and today
you will experience fine possibilities for a successful fishing endavour
along the Danish coasts and fjords. Courses conducted by REDTAG will
take you to the absolute hot spots in three areas of Denmark each with
its special characteristics and placed in some of most beautiful parts of
Denmark. Courses are placed in the absolute peak of the season.....
Each course includes guided instructions for fishing saltwater seatrout.
You will be introduced to the various techniques used for this kind of
fishing i.e. spinning, fly fishing and bouble float fishing as well as the
equipment used in order to improve chances - rods, lines, baits etc.
During the course you will also learn about the places best suited for
fishing & tactics used during the season (april - october). Finally the
course will also include a brief introduction to certain security issues.
Fishing is mainly done from the coast but one course also includes
boat fishing where we will try the harling method for catching seatrout.
The courses takes place on the island of
Funen, at Djursland and at the Limfjord.

Hotels are situated near the places we fish and all transportation is
provided for. We try to find facilities that are certified according to
environmental standards (Green Key) and though not easy it is our aim
that in due time all of our suppliers of services will be certfied according
to either such standards or our own environmental standards in order
Meals are included and picnic's arranged for to be taken with you to
the coast. One night the Chef de cuisine will serve the ultimate fish dish
that makes the angels sing! With this dinner we will have the opportunity
to taste a range of excellent ecological wines to go with the dishes.
