Skarrildhus is situated in the middle of Jutland surrounded byforests and rivers that make up a beatiful scenary. Originally the groundstone was laid in the 18th century and Skarrildhus functioned as an estate dealing with garments of various sorts. Nowadays Skarrildhus is owned by the Danish Teachers Association and host conferences, weddings, meetings etc.and of course the Danish Folk, Blues & Ragtime Guitar Festival.Belonging to the estate is a 5 km stretch of the river Skjern the most famous Danish salmon river holding the Danish record with a magnificent fish of 26,5 kg. Also belonging to Skarrildhus is beaufiful forests and parts of the river Karstoft.

Skarrildhus caters its own restaurant serving all meals thoughout the day.  At the Guitar Festival you can buy beer, take-away, candy and more in the Garden. The Hotel will also host exhibitions, classes etc.

Skarrildhus disposes of 82 rooms - single & double rooms as well as a suite placed in a separate building in the garden Rooms have TV, internet connection, minibar and bath making it a real pleasure to stay here...
